Body Politics: a headdress study.

Began as a research into the term ‘Cut-Surd’, reffering to a sardar whose hair has been cut, I wanted to create a series visually breaking the notion that these outward displays of faith are not just from a ‘bygone age’ but will continue with us into the future.
